For years, I’ve been in love with Chrysnbon. This line of kits, reproducing Victorian life in 1:12 scale, is one of a kind on the market. As a child, I put them together as is. When I got older, I began spray painting them to achieve a little more realism. When I looked around for inspiration on what else I could do, though, I found almost nothing. That was when I decided to strike out on my own, adapting conventional modeling techniques to miniatures. Now, I’m sharing the knowledge I’ve accumulated with you.
On this page, please find examples of my finished work. For materials lists, please check the “Materials Lists” category of my blog and within that the appropriate tag. To paint along with me, please follow me on either Facebook or Instagram and, over the next few months, watch for the debut of the Glorious Twelfth YouTube channel. I’ll primarily be sharing tutorials, but also tips and tricks on organizing one’s studio space, what (and where) to buy for supplies, and more as well.
And, in the meantime, if there’s a specific kit you’d like me to tackle, then please let me know!
